Pistons endure tough loss to the Chicago Bulls, 88-82
Pau Gasol had 26 points and 10 rebounds for his 50th double-double of the season to help the Chicago Bulls defeat the Detroit Pistons, 88-82. Gasol became the first Bulls player to reach 50 double-doubles since Charles Oakley, who had 53 during the 1986-87 season.
Reggie Jackson had 22 points & nine assists for Detroit while Andre Drummond finished the night with 14 points, 22 rebounds, & six blocks. Kentavious Caldwell-Pope contributed with 14 points. Drummond became the first player in Pistons history to have at least 1,000 points, 1,000 rebounds, and 100 blocks in consecutive seasons.
Detroit returns home to the Palace of Auburn Hills to begin a 4-game home stretch, beginning this Saturday night against the Miami Heat at 7:30 pm.
