GAME 4 - Cavs tie series at buzzer; Clippers destroy Rockets
With a jumper from the corner at the buzzer, the Cleveland Cavaliers went on to defeat the Chicago Bulls, 86-84, evening their Eastern Conference semifinal series at two.
Timofey Mozgov had 15 points & nine rebounds for Cleveland and J.R. Smith scored 11 of his 13 points in the 4th quarter. Kyrie Irving, playing with a sprained right foot, was only 2-of-10, thus finishing the day with 12 points & two assists.
The series moves back to Cleveland for Game 5 this Tuesday night at 7 pm.
DeAndre Jordan scored 26 points and made 14 of 34 free throws after attempting an NBA playoff-record 28 in the 1st half as the Los Angeles Clippers once again destroyed the Houston Rockets, 128-95, to take a commanding 3-1 lead in their Eastern Conference semifinals.
Jordan had 17 rebounds, Blake Griffin added 21 points, J.J. Redick contributed with 18 points, and Chris Paul finished the night with 15 points & 12 assists for the Clippers.
Both teams will return to Houston, where Game 5 will take place this Tuesday night at 9:30 pm ET.
