GAME 6 - Cavs finish off Bulls; Rockets rally to force Game 7
Even though Kyle Irving limped off the court in the 1st half, Matthew Dellavedova came off the bench with 19 points and Tristan Thompson added 13 points & 17 rebounds to help the Cleveland Cavaliers defeat the Chicago Bulls, 94-73, to clinch their Eastern Conference semifinal series in six games.
Irving managed to score six points in 12 minutes before twisting his left knee when he came down on Thompson's foot early in the 2nd quarter.
In preparing for the East Finals, Cleveland awaits the winner of the Atlanta-Washington series. The Hawks currently hold a 3-2 lead with Game 6 to be played this Friday night in Washington.
Corey Brewer scored 15 of his 19 points in the 4th quarter as the Houston Rockets stunned the Los Angeles Clippers at the Staples Center, 119-107, to force Game 7 in their Western Conference semifinals.
James Harden scored 23 points, including making all 11 of his free throws and Josh Smith scored 14 of his 19 points in the 4th quarter for the Rockets.
A trip to the West Finals is on the line as Houston host Game 7 this Sunday.
