GAME 5 - Rockets finish off Mavs; Spurs take over series, 3-2
James Harden scored 28 points and Terrence Jones had 10 of his 15 points in the 4th quarter as the Houston Rockets eliminated the Dallas Mavericks in five games, 103-94, in their Western Conference quarterfinals.
With home court advantage in the West semifinals, Houston now awaits the winner of the L.A. Clippers-San Antonio series.
Tim Duncan scored 21 points as the San Antonio Spurs held on long enough for a 111-107 victory over the Los Angeles Clippers in Game 5 to take a 3-2 series lead in their Western Conference quarterfinals.
The Spurs will return home with a chance to close out the series in Game 6 this Thursday night at 9:30 pm.
