Mike Trout and Albert Pujols were among five Angels batters to hit a homerun in the first two innings as Los Angeles held on to an 8-6 victory over the Detroit Tigers.
Tigers starting pitcher Shane Greene (4-4) had one of those days, allowing seven runs and six hits in just 1 & 2/3 innings after giving up only three runs in his first 59 innings this season combined.
Detroit hopes to avoid a series sweep against the L.A. Angels this Sunday night at 8 pm.
