Lions endure tough road loss against the Vikings, 26-16
Adrian Peterson produced 192 total yards to help the Minnesota Vikings to a 26-16 victory over the Detroit Lions.
Detroit's starting quarterback Matthew Stafford, who had X-rays on his chest & ribs after playing through a sore throwing arm last week at San Diego, was intercepted by defensive end Justin Trattou and finished 32-for-53 for 286 yards and two touchdowns, both of which were after the two-minute warning of each half.
The Lions (0-2) will finally make their way back home to Ford Field next Sunday (Sept. 27) to host the Denver Broncos at 8:30 pm.
