After 1st quarter, Lions endure breakdown vs. Vikings, 28-19
Stefon Diggs scored a 36-yard touchdown in the 3rd quarter to help the Minnesota Vikings rally for a 28-19 win over the Detroit Lions.
Detroit (1-6) had an 11-point lead after quarterback Matthew Stafford threw for two touchdowns on their first two drives, but were unable to hold on as Minnesota recorded a season-high seven sacks, which also was a season worst for the Lions.
Despite the dismal start to the season, Detroit will look to win their second straight game in London, England next Sunday when they take on the Kansas City Chiefs. Game time is set for 9:30 in the morning.
