Red Wings avoid shutout, but lose to Oilers in Edmonton, 3-1
The #1 overall pick in the 2015 NHL Draft, Connor McDavid, scored his fourth goal of the season to help the Edmonton Oilers defeat the Detroit Red Wings, 3-1.
Tomas Tatar helped Detroit avoid a shutout with a 3rd period goal and goaltender Petr Mrazek made 25 saves. The Red Wings have now lost three straight games after winning their first three.
Up next is a trip to Calgary to take on the Flames this Friday night at 9 pm ET, followed by a showdown with the Canucks in Vancouver this Saturday night.
