Pistons claim 1st place in Central with 98-94 OT win over Bulls
In a battle of undefeated teams, though still in the first week of the season, the Detroit Pistons held off the Chicago Bulls 98-94 in overtime and held Derrick Rose scoreless for the first three quarters. With the win, the Pistons claim 1st place in the Central Division and are now 3-0 for the first time since winning their first four games in the 2008-09 season. Detroit has held every opponent to less than 95 points.
Marcus Morris scored 26 points and Andre Drummond finished the night with 20 points & 20 rebounds for the Pistons. Reggie Jackson added 22 points, seven assists, and seven rebounds.
Detroit will look to protect their division lead this Tuesday night at 7:30 pm when they face Indiana at the Palace of Auburn Hills.
