Intense shootout ends in loss for Red Wings vs. Canucks, 4-3
Despite dominating the first part of the game, it took a seven-round shootout for the Vancouver Canucks to come away with a 4-3 win over the Detroit Red Wings.
Joakim Andersson, Pavel Datsyuk, & Henrik Zetterberg scored for Detroit and goaltender Jimmy Howard made 37 saves. Zetterberg forced overtime by scoring with 1:07 remaining in regulation.
The Red Wings will look to continue another point streak when they host Calgary at the Joe Louis Arena this Sunday night at 7 pm.
