Eastern pulls away in 2nd half against Detroit, 88-73
Brandon Nazione scored a career-high 23 points, shooting 10-of-14 from the field, to lead the Eastern Michigan Eagles past the Detroit Titans, 88-73.
The Eagles outscored Detroit, 57-40, in the 2nd half with Nazione scoring 17 points after halftime. The Titans led Eastern Michigan, 33-31, at halftime with Josh McFolley leading UDM (6-5) with 19 points.
This Saturday, the Eagles will start the new year at home in Ypsilanti against North Florida at noon while Detroit begins Horizon League play against Youngstown State inside Calihan Hall at 3 pm.
