Central knocks down Lourdes; Big Ten women fall short
Braylon Rayson scored 19 points and Chris Fowler added 18 points to help the Central Michigan Chippewas break away from the Lourdes Gray Wolves of the NAIA in the 2nd half for an 87-66 victory.
Central Michigan, who are fourth in the nation in averaging 11 three-pointers a game, only went 6-for-21, but still shot 54% from the field.
The Chippewas will begin MAC play at home against in-state rival Eastern Michigan this Wednesday night at 7 pm.
