Raven Lee scores 32 points to lead Eastern past Central, 99-80
Raven Lee scored a season-high 32 points on 10-of-13 shooting, including 5-of-7 from 3-point range, to lead the Eastern Michigan Eagles past the Central Michigan Chippewas on the road, 99-80, in the MAC opener for both teams.
James Thompson IV, Willie Mangum IV, and Jodan Price scored 19 each for Eastern Michigan (9-5). It was a career-high night for Price and Thompson IV also collected 14 rebounds for EMU. Josh Kozinski scored 18 points, Braylon Rayson had 17 points, Chris Fowler & Rayshawn Simmons each scored 13 points for Central Michigan (7-7).
Both teams will hit the road this Saturday as the Eagles will travel to Northern Illinois for an 8:30 pm ET game while the Chippewas head to Bowling Green to face the Falcons at 2 pm.
