Western women remain undefeated at home vs. Kent St., 73-52
The Western Michigan Broncos remained undefeated at home this season with a 73-52 victory over the Kent State Golden Flashes. WMU improved to 10-6 overall, moved to 6-0 at home this season, and are now 18-2 in the last two seasons combined under head coach Shane Clipfell.
Senior Miracle Woods went 11-for-11 from the floor to become the only player in Western history to attempt over 10 shots and make all of them in a single game. She led the team with 23 points and was one of four players to record five rebounds.
The Broncos will remain home in Kalamazoo to try to continue their home-winning streak against Miami (OH) this Saturday night at 2 pm.
