Drummond gets 16 points & 13 rebounds, but West wins, 196-173
Detroit's Andre Drummond produced 16 points & 13 rebounds for the East, but it was the Western Conference that sent the retiring Kobe Bryant out a winner with a record-setting 196-173 victory in the 2016 All-Star Game in Toronto.
Oklahoma City's Russell Westbrook won his 2nd straight All-Star MVP award after scoring 31 points for the West in a game that was not only held in Canada for the first time ever, but it also was the highest-scoring ever.
With the break now over, Drummond will return to the Pistons (27-27) as they ready to begin the 2nd half of the season. Currently, they sit a half game shy out of the last playoff spot in the East. NBA actions resumes Thursday, but Detroit will be back on the court this Friday night when they head to Washington to face the Wizards at 7 pm.
