Pistons go through long night at the Palace vs. Atlanta, 112-95

Paul Millsap had 23 points and nine rebounds as the Atlanta Hawks snapped the Detroit Pistons' five-game winning streak with a 112-95 victory.

Andre Drummond had 19 points & 17 rebounds for Detroit, who couldn't recover from a poor shooting performance in the 1st quarter. Atlanta never trailed and led by as many as 20 points in the 4th quarter.

Fortunately for the Pistons, they still have a slim, but stable lead in the playoff picture at #8, thanks to another Chicago loss and Indiana went down in defeat as well, keeping Detroit within reach of #7. Detroit will continue their playoff push when they host Oklahoma City this Tuesday night at 7:30 pm.
