Rain drowns out Tigers-Indians game; rescheduled for Monday
With rain practically flooding the Motor City all day, the series finale between the Detroit Tigers and the Cleveland Indians at Comerica Park was postponed.
The game was scheduled for 1 pm and the rain paused for a while around 2 pm, but field conditions made it difficult to play before another round of rain came through.
The game will be made up on this Monday afternoon inside Comerica Park at 1 pm, IF it carries postseason implications, either for the Tigers in the AL Wild Card race or Cleveland for postseason seeding.
