Lions extend division lead with 28-13 win over New Orleans
Quarterback Matthew Stafford passed for 341 yards & two touchdowns and wide receiver Golden Tate broke loose for a 66-yard touchdown early in the 4th quarter to help the Detroit Lions defeat the New Orleans Saints from start to finish, 28-13.
Tate finished with eight catches for 145 yards for Detroit, who became the first team in 60 Saints home games to stop Drew Brees from completing a touchdown pass.
With a two-game lead in the NFC North, the Lions (8-4) will return home to Ford Field to host division rival Chicago next Sunday at 1 pm.
