DeKeyser gets Red Wings much-needed win vs. Islanders, 5-4
Danny DeKeyser scored with 27.9 remaining in regulation to get the Detroit Red Wings a much-needed 5-4 win over the New York Islanders.
Henrik Zetterberg got a go-ahead goal late in the 2nd period and Darren Helm & Anthony Mantha had goals 2:20 apart earlier in the period for Detroit. Goaltender Petr Mrazek finished the night with 32 saves.
In less than 24 hours, the Red Wings will head to Nashville to take on the Predators this Saturday night at 8 pm.
