Hosting their 1st ever Cup Final, Predators top Penguins, 5-1
Roman Josi and Frederick Gaudreau scored 42 seconds apart in the 2nd period as the Nashville Predators defeated the Pittsburgh Penguins, 5-1, in Game 3 of the 2017 Stanley Cup Finals.
Goaltender Pekka Rinne made 27 saves, Josi also had two assists, and James Neal, Craig Smith, & Mattias Ekholm also scored for Nashville, who hosted their first ever Cup Final that gave thousands of fans inside and outside of the arena reason to celebrate. Even country star Keith Urban and actress Nicole Kidman were in attendance.
Now trailing 2-1 in the series, the Predators will host Game 4 against Pittsburgh this Monday night at 8 pm.
