Heat knock off Celtics; Thunder take down Grizzlies for 3-2 lead
Poised to win his 2nd NBA championship, Dwyane Wade led Miami with 34 points as the Heat beat the Boston Celtics, 97-87 to win their Eastern Conference semifinal series in five games.
Next up for Miami is the Eastern Conference Finals against either Chicago or Atlanta, a series that may begin as early as Sunday. Chicago currently leads the series 3-2 with Game 6 to be played in Atlanta this Thursday night.
Kevin Durant led the Thunder with 19 points & 7 rebounds as Oklahoma City blew out the Memphis Grizzlies, 99-72 that gave them their first series lead in the Western Conference semifinals.
The Thunder lead the series 3-2 heading into Game 6 on Friday night in Memphis. They got there with ease considering what happened in their triple overtime thriller two nights ago.
