Heat knock off Bulls, 83-80 to return to NBA Finals
Dwyane Wade's 21 points helped lead a furious rally in the final minutes as the Miami Heat eliminated Derrick Rose & the Chicago Bulls, 83-80 in Game 5 of the Eastern Conference Finals.
Wade put on a performace down the stretch, scoring eight points during a game-ending 18-3 run as the Heat wiped out a 12-point deficit to win the series.
Now, they are headed back to the NBA Finals for the first time since 2006, and in a fitting twist, they’ll be facing the Dallas Mavericks. Back then, Wade, along with Shaquille O'Neal, led Miami to their first ever NBA championship. As Wade seeks a 2nd title, Dallas looks for their first and to avenge their '06 loss.
The main event begins this Tuesday night with Game 1 in Miami.
