The Detroit Red Wings announced their return to the ice with their 2011-12 preseason schedule. The home lineup includes two Friday night contests vs. Philadelphia and Toronto and two Sunday afternoon tilts vs. Chicago and Pittsburgh . The road swing includes a special contest vs. the Flyers in London , Ontario , at the John Labatt Centre.
