Red Sox & Braves still holding on to wild card leads

AL WILD CARD - After Boston split the doubleheader with the N.Y. Yankees, the Red Sox, with the magic number of 3, have a slim lead ahead of Tampa Bay by one game, despite that the Rays defeated Toronto Sunday. For the last three days of the season, Boston will travel to Baltimore while Tampa Bay plays host to the Yankees.




NL WILD CARD - While the Braves continue to struggle, the St. Louis Cardinals moved closer to Atlanta with their win against the Chicago Cubs, trailing by only one game. The Braves' magic number is 3, but that could all change in the last three days of the regular season as Atlanta host the NL East champion Philadelphia Phillies while St. Louis continue their wild card pursuit at Houston.
