The Detroit Red Wings came back from 2-0 to defeat the Minnesota Wild in overtime, 3-2, at the XCel Energy Center.

Johan Franzen scored with 48.5 seconds left when the puck went in off his skate. Nicklas Lidstrom began the play when he fired the puck in, and Ian White and Tomas Holmstrom got the assists as the Wings converted for the first time on 19 power plays.

The Wings outshot the Wild, 10-5 in the 1st period, but couldn't get anything by Josh Harding even when they got 3:53 minutes of straight power play time.

The Red Wings will take a few days off before face the Columbus Blue Jackets this Friday night at the Joe Louis Arena. Currently, Detroit are on top of the Western Conference with a 4-0 record.
