Tigers' offense sweeps Royals with 4-3 victory
The Tigers' offense produced four singles as Detroit completed a three-game series sweep of the Kansas City Royals with a 4-3 victory on the road.
Miguel Cabrera had two hits and scored twice. Both times, he was driven in on Prince Fielder's singles.
Tigers starter Max Sanchez threw 97 pitches over five innings and gave up two earned runs on four hits and three walks while striking out three.
