Detroit's Prince Fielder wins the 2012 Homerun Derby
Prince Fielder beat out Toronto's Jose Bautista to win the 2012 Homerun Derby in Kansas City apart of the 2012 All-Star Game festivities.
Fielder started with five in round one while Bautista was red hot with 11, he had to fight off Angels Mark Trumbo in a second round swing off to advance to the finals.
Prince was ready and the ball was taken off from his bat mainly into the waterfall at Kauffman Stadium with 12 in the final round while Bautista's fly ball where mainly outs.
Prince Fielder became the first ever Detroit Tiger to win the HR derby and the first to win two derbys in the same state (Missouri): 2009 in St. Louis (when he played for Milwaukee) & 2012 in Kansas City.
