Rick Porcello pitched eight innings allowing a run that brings the Tigers a 7-1 win over the White Sox.
Scoreless throughout until the fifth down 1-0 the Tigers Centerfielder Austin Jackson had a two run double to rightfield off of Sox starter Chris Sale (11-3).
Brennan Boesch hit a three run homer in the sixth his 10th of the season while Porcello (7-5) through 94 pitches and 64 were strikes giving up five hits with no walks.
Jackson had a two run single in the eighth capping off a Four RBI day hitting .317.
