Tigers pull within one game of Sox for AL Central lead

With the Detroit Tigers defeating the Chicgao White Sox, 5-1, they are now a game behind for the AL Central Division lead. Chicago's magic number is 30, but Detroit will look to share the division lead this Sunday night.
AL EAST - With their 4-3 win over Baltimore, the New York Yankees improved their magic number to 28.
AL WEST - The Texas Rangers' magic number remains at 28 with their 4-3 loss to Cleveland, while Oakland improved to three games back with a 7-1 win over Boston.
AL WILD CARD - With the new wild card rule in effect this season where two teams enter the postseason to face each other in a one-game playoff, Oakland (75-57) and Baltimore (73-59) have the lead & the magic number of 29 with Tampa Bay a game and a half behind.
NL EAST - Despite both Washington and Atlanta losing, the Nationals now have a magic number of 24.
NL CENTRAL - Despite losing to Houston, the Cincinnati Reds have firm control of the division with a magic number of 21 with St. Louis, who defeated Washington, trailing behind eight & a half games back.
NL WEST - Even with San Francisco & the L.A. Dodgers winning, the Giants' magic number is now 25 with the Dodgers trailing four & a half games back.
NL WILD CARD - Atlanta (74-59) & St. Louis (72-61) currently have the lead with a magic number of 28, but following close by (a game & a half) are Pittsburgh & the L.A. Dodgers
