[/url]The Tigers gave up five in the 10th inning losing to Kansas City 8-3. Justin Verlander pitched pretty well in the cold weather at Comerica Park, seven innings allowing two runs, one earned, eight hits, walked one and struck out four.
The Bullpen struggled especially in the tenth. Reliever Phil Coke walked four and led to a Grand Slam from Alex Gordon off of Darrin Downs.
Torii Hunter 2-4 increasing his batting average to .373.
Detroit plays Atlanta at Comerica Park Friday Night Game Time 7:08pm
