Max Scherzer continues his hot pitching scattering three hits leading the Tigers to a 6-1 win over the Minnesota Twins. Torii Hunter had a solo homer in the first for a 1-0 lead after one inning. Prince Fielder added an RBI double in the fourth and with the Tigers leading 2-1 in the sixth added four more runs capped by a three run triple from pinch hitter Avisail Garcia.
Scherzer (7-0) allowing one run and walking three and striking out six, Drew Smyly came on in the seventh to finish off the game. Tigers take on the Pirates on Monday Game Time 1:08pm
