Scoring goals was very tough against Nashville when the Predators blanked the Red Wings 2-0. Scoreless first period between both teams with Nashville ahead 10-7 on shots on goal.
Shea Weber scored on slap shot with five seconds left in the second period for a 1-0 lead for the Predators. Detroit tough time drawing penalities 0-2 on the powerplay. Gabriel Bourque finished the scoring in the third
with 7:13 left in regulation.
Red Wings did outshot Nashville 27-25 and face Carolina in their next game at Joe Louis Arena on Thursday Night.
