Zetterberg spares 10 seconds of OT to give Wings 1-0 win
Detroit captain Henrik Zetterberg scored the game-winner with 10 seconds left in overtime to give the Red Wings a 1-0 victory over the Toronto Maple Leafs and a sweep of the teams' home-and-home series.
With Jimmy Howard recovering from a groin injury, Detroit's Jonas Gustavson stepped in and made 30 saves for his sixth career shutout while Toronto's Jonathan Bernier stopped 31 in his third loss of the season.
After taking some time off for the rest of the weekend, the Red Wings will return to Canada this Tuesday night at 7:30 pm when they take on another Original 6 rival in the Montreal Canadiens.
