Red Wings fall to Senators in Ottawa, 3-1
Detroit held on until the end despite being widely outshot in the scoreless 1st period, but with Erik Karlsson scoring a goal and an assist, the Ottawa Senators defeated the Detroit Red Wings, 3-1.
Henrik Zetterberg scored the lone goal for the Red Wings (6-3-3) to tie the game at one before the Sentaors came away with two late goals.
Detroit will travel to New York City to face the Rangers in another Original Six matchup this Wednesday night at 8 pm inside Madison Square Garden.
