Wings complete comeback with rare shootout win vs. NJ, 5-4
Gustav Nyquist scored the only goal in the shootout as the Detroit Red Wings rallied from being down 4-1 to earn a 5-4 victory over the New Jersey Devils.
Riley Sheahan, Xavier Ouellet, Justin Abdelkader, and Drew Miller scored for the Red Wings in regulation and backup goaltender Petr Mrazek, in his second start of the season, made 21 saves through overtime.
Detroit will make their way back to the Joe Louis Arena for a four-game home stretch, beginning with this Sunday afternoon when they face Vancouver at 2 pm.
