Red Wings earn a rare shootout road win vs. Florida, 4-3
Frans Nielsen and Thomas Vanek scored in the shootout to help the Detroit Red Wings rally for a 4-3 road victory over the Florida Panthers.
Anthony Mantha, Drew Miller, & Nielsen scored for Detroit in regulation and Jared Coreau made 31 saves for his first win.
After celebrating Christmas, the Red Wings will return home to the Joe Louis Arena to host to Buffalo this Tuesday night at 7:30 pm. Before the game, the 1997 Stanley Cup championship team will be honored.
