PLAYOFF PICTURE AS OF ALL-STAR BREAK Kobe-bryant-526-2-022011

This is what the playoff picture looks like during the all-star break, followed by other teams that are still in the hunt. Now that Kobe Bryant put on a MVP performance to help the West beat the East 148-143 and Blake Griffin making history, becoming the first Clipper to win a dunk contest & to dunk over a car, it's time to see who wants to make the playoffs and become world champion. The San Antonio Spurs currently hold the best record in the league with only 10 losses to their credit. As for the Pistons, despite poor coaching & the Rip Hamilton situation, they are still mathmatically still in the hunt for the 8th spot in the Eastern Conference.

EASTERN CONFERENCE
1. Boston Celtics
8. Indiana Pacers

4. Orlando Magic
5. Atlanta Hawks

2. Miami Heat
7. Philadelphia 76ers

3. Chicago Bulls
6. New York Knicks

STILL IN THE HUNT - Charlotte, Milwaukee, Detroit

WESTREN CONFERENCE
1. San Antonio Spurs
8. Utah Jazz

4. Oklahoma City Thunder
5. Portland Trail Blazers

2. Dallas Mavericks
7. Denver Nuggets

3. Los Angeles Lakers
6. New Orleans Hornets
