When the 2nd half of the season begins, the Detroit Pistons will have their sights set on making the playoffs.  As it stands now during the All-Star break, the Pistons (21-33) are only two games out of the playoff picture in the Eastern Conference.  Brooklyn (21-31) and Boston (20-31) currently stand in their way of making it to the postseason.

As Detroit continues to adjust & improve since waiving Josh Smith two months ago, here's what the playoffs would look like if it were to begin today.

EASTERN CONFERENCE
- {#1} Atlanta (43-11) vs. {#8} Miami (22-30)
- {#4} Washington (33-21) vs. {#5} Cleveland (33-22)

- {#2} Toronto (36-17) vs. {#7} Charlotte (22-30)
- {#3} Chicago (34-20) vs. {#6} Milwaukee (30-23)

WESTERN CONFERENCE
- {#1} Golden State (42-9) vs. {#8} Phoenix (29-25)
- {#4} Houston (36-17) vs. {#5} Dallas (36-19)

- {#2} Memphis (39-14) vs. {#7} San Antonio (34-19)
- {#3} Portland (36-17) vs. {#6} L.A. Clippers (35-19)
