PLAYOFF PICTURE AT THE ALL-STAR BREAK
When the 2nd half of the season begins, the Detroit Pistons will have their sights set on making the playoffs. As it stands now during the All-Star break, the Pistons (21-33) are only two games out of the playoff picture in the Eastern Conference. Brooklyn (21-31) and Boston (20-31) currently stand in their way of making it to the postseason.
As Detroit continues to adjust & improve since waiving Josh Smith two months ago, here's what the playoffs would look like if it were to begin today.
EASTERN CONFERENCE

- {#4} Houston (36-17) vs. {#5} Dallas (36-19)
- {#2} Memphis (39-14) vs. {#7} San Antonio (34-19)
- {#3} Portland (36-17) vs. {#6} L.A. Clippers (35-19)
