Helm scores twice as Red Wings take down Devils, 3-1

Darren Helm scored two goals to help the Detroit Red Wings defeat the New Jersey Devils, 3-1, on New Year's Eve.
Henrik Zetterberg also scored for Detroit and goaltender Jimmy Howard recorded 12 saves on the night.
The Red Wings will start off 2015 with a two-week road trip, with the first week being on the west side of Canada. Their first game of the new year will be in Vancouver this Saturday night at 10 pm ET against the Canucks.
