HELM SCORED TWO GOALS AND THE WINGS BLANKED THE ISLANDERS 5-0

Darren Helm continued his hot play scored two goals and the Red Wings beat the Islanders 5-0. Helm's second goal in the second period spilt the New York Defense for his 7th of the season.
Daniel Alfredsson scored twice also while Jimmy Howard back in net stopping 29 shots. Detroit 11 goals scored in their past two goals without Pavel Datsyuk due to suffering a concussion a last weekend.
