Tomas Tatar's two goals gets Red Wings past Carolina, 3-1
Tomas Tatar scored two goals and Pavel Datsyuk added a goal & two assists to lead the Detroit Red Wings to a 3-1 victory over the Carolina Hurricanes.
Starting goaltender Petr Mrazek made 34 saves for the Red Wings, who have won three games in a row and seven out of their last eight.
Detroit will rest for the next couple of days before returning home to the Joe Louis Arena to face Toronto in an Original Six matchup this Wedneday night at 8 pm.
