On the road, CMU men gets past Bulls while women fall to EMU

Chris Fowler scored 22 points -- including the game-winner -- to cap the Central Michigan Chippewas' 75-74 come-from-behind victory over the Buffalo Bulls. Fowler made the first of two free throws with 8 seconds left to seal it for CMU.

The Bulls led 45-32 at halftime, but Central Michigan went on a 16-3 run to start the 2nd half. With the win, CMU swept the season series against Buffalo.

The Chippewas (18-5, 8-4 MAC) will return home to Mt. Pleasant this Wednesday night to host Northern llinois at 7 pm.

The Eastern Michigan Eagles earned their fifth MAC victory of the season with a 85-64 win over the Central Michigan Chippewas at the Convocation Center.

Jamaica Bucknor led the Eagles with 24 points, while three other players recorded double digit-scoring. Sophomore Cha Sweeney had 17 points with a career-high 10 assists for the second double-double of her career. Janay Morton added 14 points and Sera Ozelci contributed with 12 points.

Eastern Michigan will hit the road this Tuesday night when they travel to Oxford to face Miami (OH) at 6 pm while Central Michigan heads to Ball State this Wednesday night to take on the Cardinals at 7 pm.
