Pistons kick off 2nd half of season with 100-91 win over Bulls
Despite a pair of trades that left Detroit short-handed for a day, the Pistons still managed to start off the 2nd half of the regular season with a 100-91 victory over the Chicago Bulls.
Rookie point guard Spencer Dinwiddie, who was called up from the D-League at the last minute, recorded his career highs of 12 points and nine assists for Detroit. Andre Drummond finished the night with 18 points and 20 rebounds.
The Pistons will continue their 4-game home stretch at the Palace of Auburn Hills this Sunday afternoon when they host the Washington Wizards at 3:30 pm. Before the game begins, Detroit will officially welcome Reggie Jackson to the lineup, after begin traded from Oklahoma City for D.J. Augustin, and the return of NBA champion Tayshaun Prince via a three-team deal.
