Goaltender Petr Mrazek stopped 28 shots for his second shutout of the series that helped the Detroit Red Wings defeat the Tampa Bay Lightning, 4-0, and take a 3-2 lead in their Eastern Conference quarterfinals.

Riley Sheahan, Drew Miller, Pavel Datsyuk, and Danny DeKeyser scored for the Red Wings, who finished 2-for-4 on the powerplay.

Detroit can finish this series back home at the Joe Louis Arena against Tampa Bay in Game 6 this Monday night at 7 pm.

If this was Nassau Coliseum's last stand, it went out on a good note. Nikolay Kulemin scored the go-ahead goal midway in the 3rd period to help the New York Islanders earn a 3-1 victory over the Washington Capitals to even their Eastern Conference quarterfinal series at three. Game 7 will be this Monday night at 7:30 pm in Washington, with the winner to face the top-seed New York Rangers in the East semifinals.

Duncan Keith scored late in the 3rd period to help the Chicago Blackhawks win their Western Conference quarterfinal series, 4-2, with a 4-3 victory over the Nashville Predators. Up next for Chicago is a West semifinal matchup against either St. Louis or Minnesota. Currently, the Wild lead the series, 3-2, and will host Game 6 this Sunday afternoon at 3 pm.

Down 3-0 early in the game, Calgary rallied throughout the rest of the game and Matt Stajan broke the tie with 4:17 left in the 3rd period as the Flames defeated the Vancouver Canucks, 7-4, to win the Western Conference quarterfinal series, 4-2. Calgary will now head to southwest USA to meet the top-seed Anaheim Ducks in the West semifinals at the Honda Center.
