Price's 11Ks help Tigers snap 8-game losing streak vs. Sox, 7-1
Starting pitcher David Price struck out 11 batters in a five-hit performance as the Detroit Tigers ended a long eight-game losing streak with a 7-1 victory over the Chicago White Sox.
Miguel Cabrera hit his 12th homerun of the season that scored two runs for Detroit and Price (5-2) struck out seven straight batters in the middle innings to earn his 13th career complete game.
The Tigers will wrap up their three-game weekend series with the White Sox in Chicago this Sunday afternoon at 2 pm.
