Larkin & Mrazek guide Red Wings to 1-0 shutout win over Devils
Dylan Larkin scored on a breakaway midway in the 1st period and goaltender Petr Mrazek made 22 saves as the Detroit Red Wings earned a 1-0 shutout victory on the road against the New Jersey Devils.
Mrazek, appearing in his eighth straight game, earned his second shutout of the season and seventh of his career. Larkin scored his 14th goal of the season for Detroit, which moves him to the top among rookies.
The Red Wings will continue their two-week road trip on the west coast, starting with a stop in San Jose to take on the Sharks this Thursday night at 10:30 pm ET.
