Porcello struggles & errors hurt Detroit, losing to KC, 9-5

Four Tiger errors led to three Royals runs as they lose 9-5. Down 5-1 midway through Detroits' key hits came from Jhonny Peralta a solo home run and a two run homer by Miguel Cabrera in the bottom of the seventh.
Rick Porcello had a rough command on his fastball giving up nine hits, five earned runs, walked three. Now 0-2 on the season and with the starters getting hit alot the last few games, the Tigers are relying on Justin Verlander to come up big against the Texas Rangers starting tomorrow at 1 pm with a three game series at Comerica Park.
