It was a hard game to watch for Tiger fans as the New York Yankee tradition showed in Game 4 with consistent hitting, great defense, and the pitching of A.J. Burnett as Detroit lost bad to the Yankees, 10-1 to even the ALDS at two.

Derek Jeter had a two-run double in the thrid plus the Yankees put six in the eighth to blow it open. Curtis Granderson had two incredible catches off the bat of Don Kelly that could've scored three in the 1st inning, then in the 6th inning off of Jhonny Peralta.

Rick Porcello pitched six innings, allowing four runs and took the loss. A.J. Burnett pitched into the sixth for win. The fifth and deciding game of the series will be this Thursday at Yankee Stadium.

Adrian Beltre hit three straight home runs as the defending AL champion Texas Rangers advanced once again to the ALCS, defeating the Tampa Bay Rays, 4-3 in Game 4 to win their divisional series.

Beltre put on a power show that few players in major league history have matched, helping Texas take the best-of-five series and ending the Rays’ remarkable run to the wild-card spot.

With former WWE champion John Cena in the crowd witnessing history, Beltre became the 7th player who has homered three times in a postseason game—Adam Kennedy was the last to do it for the Angels in 2002. Babe Ruth did it twice, while Reggie Jackson, George Brett and Bob Robertson also are on the list.

Heading back to Arlington to prepare for the ALCS, the Rangers will await the winner of Game 5's Tigers-Yankees matchup this Thursday night.

Ben Francisco came on with a pinch-hit, three-run homerun to provide the only offense the Philadelphia Phillies needed for a 3-2 win over the St. Louis Cardinals on that gave them a 2-1 lead in their NL division series. The Phillies will have an opportunity to advance to the NLCS with a win tonight in St. Louis.

Avoiding a sweep, Arizona Dimaondbacks' starting pitcher Josh Collmenter shut down Milwaukee’s big hitters for the third time this season and Paul Goldschmidt hit the third grand slam by a rookie in postseason history in an 8-1 rout that cut the Brewers’ lead in the best-of-5 series to 2-1. The D-Backs will look to force Game 5 tonight in Arizona.
