Titans end preseason slate with win over Ashland, 96-65

The Detroit Titans wrapped up their two-game preseason schedule at Calihan Hall with a convincing win over the Ashland Eagles, 96-65.

Junior guard Jason Calliste opened the first half with 15 points on 4-of-4 shooting, including five assists, three steals, & two rebounds. Behind Calliste's effort and a 76.9 field-goal percentage as a team, Detroit took a 55-32 lead into halftime.

Sophomore guard Ray McCallum led all scorers with 24 points on 8-for-10 shooting, along with five rebounds and three steals.

Detroit will begin the regular season with a home opener this Friday night (Veteran's Day) against Lake Erie at 7 pm.
