Red Wings battle their way to a 3-2 OT win over Chicago
Todd Bertuzzi scored his second goal at 4:21 in overtime, lifting the Detroit Red Wings to a 3-2 win over the Chicago Blackhawks.
Detroit has won 14 straight at home to match a franchise record set in 1965. Pavel Datsyuk assisted on two goals in the first period, Jimmy Howard, who gave up a goal to rookie Andrew Shaw late in the second period, made 25 saves to earn his NHL-high 26th win.
During the previous 13 wins at home, Datsyuk had 12 assists and 16 points.
